Week in the Life 2014: Saturday Night High and Dry

We went to breakfast at my favorite place yesterday - Portage Bay Cafe in Seattle. I got what I always get - the bananas Foster French Toast. It's a fantastic place to take photos because it's got huge windows so the light is great.

I took far fewer photos yesterday, but I'm happier with the ones I got.

After breakfast I ran a few errands - returned some boots to Zappos and finally took in three pairs of pants to be hemmed, which I'll be happy to add back to my capsule wardrobe next week.

The girls played together and watched part of Frozen, and a little bit of WALL-E, which prompted a very sweet conversation between sisters when M was concerned that "robot all gone?" at the beginning when Eve's spaceship landed and took off in giant clouds of smoke.

TJ and I went out last night and were happy to find that the new babysitter worked out well. M slept better than she has all week, so apparently the sitter has some kind of special magic!

This morning I curled up in my comfy chair and wrote down my observations and reflections for yesterday. It was a nice way to start the day.
